As a boutique funeral celebrant and planner on the Gold Coast, Rite of Passage Funerals create ceremonies that are as unique as the lives they honour. At Rite of Passage Funerals, we take time to truly understand the person at the heart of the farewell, weaving their stories, values and personality into a service that feels authentic and meaningful. From intimate gatherings to larger community celebrations, every element — from the words spoken to the music, rituals and symbolic gestures — is chosen with care to reflect a life well-lived.

Your Funeral Celebrant will meet with you in person or via Zoom to talk through the key questions, anecdotes and structure of your personalised ceremony. Over the course of this initial meeting and subsequent communications, your celebrant will gather the information they need to create a one-of-a-kind ceremony for your person.

Curated ceremony

Our Funeral Celebrants custom write all their ceremonies to suit the individual needs of each family we work with. Our mission? To deliver ceremonies that are filled with meaningful expression, personalised tributes, unique rituals, and tell the story of your person’s life and legacy.

Expert Delivery on the day

On the day of the Funeral Service or Memorial, our team will be with you every step of the way. Your Funeral Celebrant will come armed with their professional tools (mic, PA system, ceremony, expert public speaking skills) to deliver your unique service to your guests.

Our Funeral Ceremonies work on a sliding scale based on the Funeral Celebrant’s fees that we simply pass onto you. We stand behind empowering our talented team of Funeral Celebrants to set their fees based on their experience, and know that when it comes to the day, you will get nothing short of perfection.

    Yaz made everything so easy from the very start to even after the service. She was so detailed and caring. She listened to our stories and wishes and delivered above and beyond. She remembered every detail we mentioned and told pops story as if she was apart of it. One small example is she went and had personalised toppers made and put in his flowers as a special touch.

    She is an amazing person; so genuine, caring and providing a service that you never want to need her for again, but if we did, without hesitation, we will be calling her when needed.
