At Rite of Passage Funerals, our Gold Coast burial services are crafted to honour individuality. Whether you choose the simplicity of our Essentials Burial Package — with transport, professional mortuary care, a cardboard burial casket and all required paperwork — or a fully bespoke ceremony featuring custom venues, music, rituals and personal touches, we ensure the day feels authentic, beautiful and deeply meaningful.

What’s included

Transportation & mortuary care

We arrange collection of your person from their place of death and bring them into the care of our trusted (and excellent) mortuary partners on the Gold Coast. From there, we wash and dress your person, encasket them, and also arrange transportation to the burial ground.

Eco-Cardboard Burial Casket

The $2,750 Essentials package includes a complimentary cardboard cremation casket. If you want to upgrade your casket, you absolutely can.

Note: this does not include the burial plot or interment fees charged by the burial ground.

All necessary paperwork

Cause of Death Certificate, Life Extinct Form, Official Death Certificate…. these are just a few of the required forms needed when a death takes place. We take care of them all on your behalf.

BURIAL Packages

Essentials BURIAL, $2750 inc gst

All the essentials you need for a ‘no service, no attendance’ burial. This includes transportation from place of death* to our mortuary partner and onto the cemetery, bathing, dressing and encasketing at the mortuary, a complimentary cardboard burial casket, and filing of all paperwork, including the death certificate with Births, Deaths and Marriages.

*Note: this price is for the Gold Coast area. Out of area and out of hours fees may apply, but we will let you know upfront.

BURIAL + Service, from $6500 to $10,500

Want to add-on a bespoke graveside Funeral Service or Memorial Event planned by one of our funeral planning experts? Our burial packages include everything you get in the Essentials Burial, $2750 plus incur a $2500 professional service fee. From there you can add-on flowers, hearse, celebrant, and, if required a casket upgrade.
